From the NYT Bestselling author of BIG ROCK and MISTER O, comes two brand new, hot and hilarious standalone romantic comedies…
FULL PACKAGE and JOY STICK!
But one cheating fiancé and shredded wedding dress later, she skips town desperately needing a do-over. So she moves in with her brother, the new quarterback for the Raleigh Rough Riders, starts her own business, and vows to live by her own rules and no one else’s.
Oliver Powell is a man who always gets what he wants. As the sexy as sin MVP Tight End, he’s arrogant. He’s loaded. He’s also got a sizeable package below the belt that drives the women crazy.
And he’s focused. The prize—a Super Bowl ring on his finger.
His concentration on getting that ring is unwavering—until Shannon Hale shows up. Now the only game he wants to win involves her ending up in his bed.
The problem? Shannon wants nothing to do with NFL’s resident playboy.
The solution? Play dirty.
Stacey Lynn currently lives in Minnesota with her husband and four children. When she’s not conquering mountains of laundry and fighting a war against dust bunnies and cracker crumbs, you can find her playing with her children, curled up on the couch with a good book, or on the boat with her family enjoying Minnesota’s beautiful, yet too short, summer.
She lives off her daily pot of coffee, can only write with a bowlful of Skittles nearby, and has been in love with romance novels since before she could drive herself to the library.
“I get that.” He reached out and stroked down a long strand of still-damp hair, moving it behind one shoulder. “I can make you forget all that.”
This is the first book I’ve read from Kelly Jamieson, it caught my eye on Net Galley and I wanted to check it out. I thought it was a pretty good, easy read. It was cute and sexy and had just a touch of angst near the end, but for most of the book it was pretty much smooth sailing for our serious, dedicated, geeky professor/scientist and hot fun loving ex-Navy SEAL turned bar owner. I did enjoy the nerdy girl/hot guy combo, it was fun seeing Beck pursue Hayden and bring her out of her shell. Continue reading New Review! Body Shot (Last Shot #1) by Kelly Jamieson
Including walking right onto the property of Austin’s most ruthless and feared drug lord to beg for some H. I don’t know his name, only that people call him Boss. Oh, and that he won’t think twice to put a bullet in my head.
But like I said, I’ll do anything to get my next fix. Even if it costs me my life.
Or changes it forever.
He’s so arrogant.
She’s so self-righteous.
I can’t stand him.
I want her.
He’s a distraction I don’t need.
She’ll say yes eventually because I’m not giving up.
Justine Porter is stuck between a rock and a stripper pole. She lost her law school scholarship, which means she has two choices to keep her life on track: strip for her tuition or tutor the most distractingly sexy guy in her class—the one she’s been turning down for two years straight. It should be an easy choice, but tutoring Ryker Grant could derail her plans to graduate with honors faster than two-for-one night at the Déjà Vu. Then again, topless has never really been her color.
She could take the easy road, just this once . . . but the deal has enough loopholes to trip anyone up.
Who knew they taught bad judgment in law school?

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had. She loves hearing from her readers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Happy Fourth of July, folks. And happy wedding day to me. Please make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position. Make sure your seat belt is securely fastened and grab every bottle of available liquor you can. You’re going to need it.
Hahahaha! Sam Stocking, Noel Holiday and the rest of the insane Holiday family are back in this laugh out loud, over the top third installment of the series! “Damon,” she whispered, her hand going to my knee, the touch soft.
“What is it, petal?”
She exhaled a shaky breath. “You’re the only audience I want.”
This was my first L.H. Cosway book, the cover and blurb caught my eye and when I saw it was available for a limited time through Kindle Unlimited I decided to check it out and I am glad I did! I really enjoyed this story and the characters, I’m a sucker for a reclusive hero and Damon Atwood fit that bill perfectly. His awkwardness and gruffness, yet underlying vulnerability, endeared me to him right off the bat and it honestly wouldn’t have mattered what happened next because I was so taken with him. But, luckily, the story ended up being just as good, filled with sexual tension, tenderness, and loads of drama all set in a beautifully vivid theater environment. Continue reading Review! Her life changed in an instant.
And he’s the only one who could have prevented it.
From the New York Times bestselling author of The Pact and The Lie comes a new standalone contemporary romance about those McGregor men.
Jessica Charles shouldn’t have even been in London when the unthinkable happened.
She should have been back at home in Edinburgh, perhaps hanging with her boyfriend, having drinks with her sister or doing yoga with her group of friends. She should have been going on in her normal, dependable life as always.
But on that fateful day in August, when a mentally-ill ex-soldier opened fire in public, Jessica’s world changed forever.
Now single and crippled from the gunshot wounds, Jessica finds herself scared and alone, losing faith in herself and humanity with each agonizing moment that passes.
That is until a stranger enters her life. A stranger who makes her live again.
Keir McGregor has always been the strong, silent type. Throw in tall, dark, and handsome and you’ve got pretty much the perfect Scotsman.
Except Keir is anything but perfect. He’s got a past he’s running away from and a guilty conscience he can’t seem to shed. But the more time he spends with Jessica, the more he falls in love with her.
And the more his secret threatens to tear them apart.
He may have been a stranger to her.
But she’s never been a stranger to him.
“You’re not going anywhere,” he says. “Sit. I’ll get you another drink.”
“It’s getting late,” I say feebly but I sit down anyway, my leg giving a protest of pain.
“You need something for that?” he says, noticing my wince.
“The scotch will do fine,” I tell him quickly, not wanting him to make a fuss. “But really, I should go.”
“Why?” he asks from the kitchen. I hear the top pop off the bottle, the slosh of liquid in the glass. “Where do you have to be?”
I have to think about that for a moment. He comes over and holds out the glass. “I won’t keep you here if you don’t want to be here. But if you do want to be here, you don’t need to make any excuses.”
I take the glass from him, holding it delicately in my fingers. He stands over me, a massive wall, waiting for some kind of response.
“I just…” I begin. “I…” I take a sip for bravery. Swallow. “I’m not very good at this.”
“Good at what?” Continue reading Excerpt Reveal! THE DEBT by Karina Halle
Talk about feels overload!!! As I’m writing this, it’s been almost 24hrs since I finished reading this book and I am still swimming in a sea of feels as I think back on it. Much like everyone else, I was excited yet terrified when Jamie McGuire announced this book a few months back. Excited because, yay more Maddox family! I’ve always said that any time spent with the Maddox family is time well spent, so I was pumped to see we were getting another full length novel featuring not one, but all of them! But I was terrified because of that title, I think I was in denial, thinking “she can’t possibly kill off a Maddox, the world will never forgive her” but I knew I had to trust that Jamie McGuire knew what she was doing and wouldn’t let the fans down. It was with those two emotions, excitement and fear, that I opened this book on release day and began this one last chapter for the Maddox family. This book was everything, she managed to resurrect every feeling that I had while reading the other books and then threw in a few new ones for good measure. It made me remember why I fell in love with all of these guys and I thought that it was the ultimate finale for this amazing group. Just get ready for the tears to flow, because I don’t think there’s any way they couldn’t fall after that beautiful ending!
I thought we were a tight family. Turns out we were just spiders caught in our web of lies.
“What if I touched you right where you want to be touched?” I slide my hand up her thigh, inching her skirt up slowly. Her breath catches, the quiet gasp making me smile. “What if I touched you right where you pretend to be so protective? I know you. I know you like it dirty . . . maybe even a little rough.”
She finds her voice, though it’s affected, sexy. “A lot.”
“What is that?”
Clearing her throat, she says, “I like it rough. Really rough.”
The right side of my mouth curves up, my hand stalling just below the apex of her thighs when my phone buzzes. I release a sigh. Grabbing the phone from my pocket, I sit up and read the text: Let’s get the fuck out of here. I look back at the black-haired raven I’ve left squirming on the metal barstool next to me. Pity. I’d like to explore exactly how she likes it, but duty calls. Standing up suddenly, I grab my wallet and slap some bills down for the drinks.
“What are you doing?” she demands, desperation lacing her tone as her eyes go wide.
I tuck my wallet back into the inside pocket of my Vittori suit jacket and kiss her on the cheek. Since I’m there, I add with a wink, “I bet we’d be so fucking good together.” Straightening upright, I smirk. “My apologies. I hate to run, but unfortunately, I have a prior engagement I can’t get out of. Maybe we can pick this up another time. I’ll see you around, sweetheart.”
She huffs. “You’re a playboy bastard, Luke Anders,” rolls off her tongue in frustrated anger as she spins back to the bar. Continue reading EXCERPT REVEAL! Dirty Talk by S.L. Scott
