Mara Keiley recently moved to Apsen for her dream job and she figures while she’s there she should start putting a little more excitement into her life. Her first attempt ends up with her having a panic attack on the slopes. the ruggedly handsome ski patrol to her rescue. She’s shocked to discover that her savior is none other than the one-night stand she had two years ago, she’s never forgotten his kisses but there are two problems – 1.) she can’t remember anything else about that night, which is a bummer because he’s so good looking and his kisses were so amazing, but he must have been terrible in bed. And 2.) he doesn’t appear to remember her. Jesse Hayes is used to the revolving door of women that come and go through his town, it’s just a fact of life living in a tourist town. The one woman he can’t forget, though, is the little spitfire who literally fell into his arms two years before so he can’t believe his luck that he’s somehow found her again. Will these two get a second chance at finding love and more importantly can Jesse finally clear up Mara’s questions about his sexual prowess??
He executes a small hop and glides down the mountain like a commercial for men’s deodorant. Or beer. Something manly and smooth. Razors.
He’s like a damn razor commercial with his smooth moves.
You know, sometimes you’re just in the mood for something lighthearted, sexy and just plain old fun. Crazy Over You more than fit that bill for me! I had such fun reading this book, I found myself alternating between laughing or swooning for most of it. There’s virtually no angst and every so often that’s exactly what I need. Next To You, the first interconnected standalone in this series, gave me a similar reaction so I knew that I would really enjoy this one as well. I loved the flirty banter, hilarious inner musings and the sweet romance. Mara was a riot, she was so quirky and awkward and she’s absolutely someone I could see being friends with. Jesse was rugged and manly and an all-around good guy. If I didn’t already like him, I was a total goner for him seeing how much he loved his dog. Major swoon!!! Mara’s cats were also highly amusing, as a cat owner myself, I could definitely relate to some of George’s antics. I also enjoyed seeing the flashbacks that slowly pieced together what happened between them two years earlier, so much fun! This book was an all-around good time, something that I know I’ll always find when picking up a Daisy Prescott book! If you’re looking for an easy, breezy feel good book that’ll leave you smiling at the end, you definitely need to pick this one up! And while you’re at it, you might as well grab Next To You as well! I’m looking forward to more books in the Love with Altitude series!
“I’m crazy,” I tell him. “You should be warned.”
He leans across the table and kisses me. “It’s okay, because I’m crazy over you.”
