Review Blitz – TAKE ME BACK by Meghan March

“We’ve got ten days to figure out if there’s still an us. I love you, Kat, but that doesn’t mean jack shit if we aren’t both willing to fight for this.”

Holy hell! This book was nothing like I was expecting and a bit of a departure from previous Meghan March books that I’ve read, but it was such an awesome book! I love that it took me in a direction I never expected, it was a pulse-pounding, page turning ride that was also full of feels and a great love story. You’re also transported to the beautiful islands of Belize giving the story an extra touch of escapism. I enjoyed everything about this book, I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough because I was so anxious to see what was going to happen next. There comes a point in the story where you’d better just clear your schedule until you’re done, because, trust me, you’re not going to be able to put it down until you’re finished!

“I ruined us before we’d barely gotten started.”
Dane pulls back and looks at me. “We’re right here. We might be drifting, but we’re not done yet.”

This is going to be another short review because there’s very little I can say about the actual events of this book that won’t spoil anything. You’re definitely going to want to experience this one as it comes because it’s so exciting and so surprising. On the highest level, this book is about Dane and Kat Cross who are about to spend their second wedding anniversary on a tropical vacation on a secluded island in Belize. Things haven’t exactly been going well in their short marriage, Kat fears that they might be over but Dane is determined to use this time away to fix what’s broken between them. They’ve got ten days to save their marriage. That’s all I’m going to say. There’s soooo much more at play here, but you’re going to have to find out for yourself what it is. All I will say is that I think Meghan March has another winner on her hands here. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I haven’t read a Meghan March book that I haven’t liked, and this one is definitely no exception but I feel like she really challenged herself with this story and I loved the result! Every new release from her just gets better and better. If you’re a fan of Meghan March, don’t miss this one and if you’re a fan of stories that’ll make your heart pound and keep you on the edge of your seat, definitely check this one out!

“We only get one ride, Kat, and I think you’re meant to be part of mine.”
